Connecticut College 15, Wellesley College 3 Nichols, Thomas Lead Camels with Four Points Each in Offensive Uprising

CLERMONT, Fla.--The Connecticut College women's lacrosse team secured a 15-3 victory against Wellesley College in a non-conference game played at the National Training Center Wednesday.

The Camels improve their record to 2-3 with the victory while the Blue even their mark at 3-3.

Connecticut College opened the game with a 10-0 run and never looked back.  Senior Libby Nichols (Baltimore, Md.) scored a first-half hat trick to spark the Camels on their run.

Nichols and Taylor Thomas (Needham, Mass.) both had three goals and an assist en route to their four point outings. Izzy Marx (Ridgewood, N.J.) had three goals of her own in the offensive uprising.

Bri Miller (Sudbury, Mass.) and Hannah Rochman (Hamilton, Mass.) both had a goal and an assist in the Camel triumph. 

Caitlin Cataldo (Orange, Conn.) stopped five shots in the opening half of action to earn the victory. Kelsey Burke (Atlanta, Ga.) made two saves in 19:35 of relief duty while Allisa Dalpe (East Falmouth, Mass.) closed out the win, holding the Blue to a single score over the closing 10:25 of action.

Claire Canty (East Rockaway, N.Y.), Cassidy Jemo (Hilbertsville, Pa.) and Chelsey Hooker (Cypress, Texas) scored goals for Wellesley. Tori Hysko (Reisterstown, Md.) made four saves for the Blue.
