CLERMONT, Fla.—(Photo of Caroline Moore '15 Provided by Matt Risley) Ithaca College scored the first seven goals of the second half to pull away for a 15-5 win against Connecticut College in a game played at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. Tuesday.

The Bombers (1-2) earned their first win of the 2014 season, while the Camels (1-2) dropped their second straight decision in a game that was closer than the scoreboard would indicate.

Connecticut College trailed by just a single goal at the half, 3-2. The Camels enjoyed a 23-to-21 advantage in shots and can also take solace in the fact that they won the ground ball battle by a 19-to-14 margin.

Sophomore Ally Runyon (Fairport, N.Y.) erupted with three goals while assisting on two others to lead the Bombers to the win. Riley Marion (Dartmouht, Mass.) and Molly Fischer (Aquinnah, Mass.) scored three goals each for the winnings side.

Rookie net-minder Emily Ross (Stony Brook, N.Y.) registered 12 saves in the cage for Ithaca.

Hannah Donnegan (Great Falls, Va.) contributed a goal, five draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers to lead Connecticut College.

Senior Haley Dumke (Scarsdale, N.Y.) netted a goal to go along with four ground balls and a caused turnover for the Camels.

Junior Caroline Moore (Ridgewood, N.J.), Taylor Thomas (Needham, Mass.) and Tina Balzotti (Duxbury, Mass.) chipped in with scores for Head Coach Liz Longley's Camels.

Senior Lowell Abbott (Manchester, Mass.) had four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in the losing effort.

Izzy Marx (Ridgewood, N.J.) accounted for two ground balls, one assist; one caused turnover and one draw control.

Allisa Dalpe (East Falmouth, Mass.) made three saves in goal for Connecticut College.
