HADLEY, Mass. – Connecticut College sophomore Augie Djerdjaj (Mahopac, N.Y.) has been named the NESCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. He is being recognized for the first time this season.
Djerdjaj helped the Camels remain undefeated this season by registering a combined seven points in two conference matches. He scored two goals and added an assist in an 8-2 victory over Trinity before netting the lone goalin a 1-1 double-overtime tie at No. 4 Amherst. Through six matches, Djerdjaj is tied for the team lead in scoring with 10 points on four goals and two assists.
Connecticut College, which has been nationally ranked throughout the season, continues a challenging stretch on the road when it travels to Middlebury and Williams over the upcoming weekend. The Camels will first face the Panthers in Vermont on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
