Men’s Swimming Falls in Dual Meet Against No. 19 Williams

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's swimming team dropped its first dual meet of the season to No. 19 Williams by a 156-106 score on Saturday afternoon at Lott Natatorium.

Freshmen Dash Hunter (Westport, Conn.) and Colin Merrill (Glastonbury, Conn.) each won two events to pace the Camels in the setback. Hunter captured the 100 and 200-yard breastroke events in 1:00.07 and 2:11.51, respectively, while Merrill took first place in the 200 fly in 1:55.83 and the 400 IM in 4:08.34.

Another notable performance was made by Charlie Adl (New Canaan, Conn.). The sophomore was victorious in the 500 free by touching the wall in 4:45.95.

Connecticut College (2-1) will next travel to Amherst for a dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m.
