Stephania Lopez Earns ACWPC All-America Accolades for Second Straight Year

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College sophomore women’s water polo captain Stephania Lopez (Chicago, Ill.) has been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division III All-America Team, as announced by the organization. She earned a place on the second team for the second straight season.

Fifty-Four Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team Honors

HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 54 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, outdoor track & field, rowing, tennis, sailing, and women’s water polo.

Three Women’s Water Polo Players Garner CWPA All-Conference Accolades

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Three Connecticut College women’s water polo standouts were named to the CWPA Division III All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office. Sophomore captain Stephania Lopez (Chicago, Ill.) made the first team, while Brooklynn Hayes (Granville, Mass.) and Ginny McCool (Delray Beach, Fla.) landed on the second team.

Women’s Water Polo Splits With Utica and Wittenberg

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women’s water polo team split against its competition at the CWPA Division III Championships on Saturday at the Lott Natatorium. The Camels first defeated Utica, 12-4, before dropping a 15-12 decision to Wittenberg later in the day.
